A premiere cultural institution bridging the gap between formal orchestral precision
and the rhythmic heritage of Africa.
“The PSO&CG was never meant to be just another orchestra. It was born from a desire to see our local rhythmic narratives elevated to the global stage, wrapped in the grandeur of classical symphonic
form. We don’t just play notes; we breathe life into the shared history of our people.”
— Kayode Odejinmi, Founder & Music Director

A Message from the Founder & Artistic Director
Welcome to the Premier Symphony Orchestra and Choral Group. The vision behind this organization was born from an unshakable conviction, rooted in a deep sense of purpose and a genuine passion for humanity. I am often reminded of a profound lesson from my late mentor, Rev. Dr. Able Adeleke: "A divine vision does not fail because it comes from God."
While music is our foundation, it is also the vehicle for a much greater purpose. It is a powerful language capable of crossing boundaries, healing divisions, and bringing people together. What began as a personal passion has grown into a calling to create a platform where artistic excellence flourishes, talents are nurtured, and cultural heritage is preserved.
We are deeply committed to using the arts as a force for inspiration, education, and positive social impact. True excellence finds its highest purpose when it serves the greater good. As you explore our work, I invite you to join us on this journey to inspire, create, and build a legacy that will resonate for generations to come.
Thank you for your partnership and for believing in the transformative power of music.
